In Cologne's Schillerallee, love and hate go hand in hand. In the house at number 10 on the corner of Schillerallee and Maybachstraße, people love, argue, kiss, dream and blaspheme. People meet in the Schiller pub, in the Weigel patisserie and in summer at the ÜberSee beach club. Love and intrigue, friendship and cheating, careers and children, cheating and support, intact and broken families, quarrels and reconciliations: "Unter uns" deals with everything that can happen in every family, every clique, every flat-sharing community in real life, but doesn't have to. In "Unter uns", everyone knows everyone else's problems, everyone is somehow friends or related and tries to help each other.
