Luigi Certaldo, a penniless car test driver, falls in love with Elisa, a girl he met at a party at his friend Sergio's house. When he accompanies her to his cousin Alberto's villa in Volterra, a mysterious intertwining of magic, murders, thefts, apparitions, ghosts and alleged reincarnations will mix friendships, alliances and certainties. In fact, everything revolves around an Etruscan vase owned by Alberto Certaldo and which carries a map engraved to decipher the labyrinth that leads to a large and very rich necropolis. It will turn out to be a dramatic treasure hunt that a young medium had unconsciously plotted: "what has already happened ... will happen again".
