The story begins when former special-forces soldier Francois Brink stumbles across the aftermath of a disastrous transit-cash robbery. The robbers and most of the security guards are dead, and several suitcases filled with money are left behind. Seeing an opportunity to escape his own financial struggles, Brink takes the money and disappears. Unknown to him, someone secretly records him taking the cash.
