Welcome to the Prudential Family Playhouse guide at TV Tome. <P> Prudential Family Playhouse was a live hour long anthology series that appeared every other week. All shows were adaptations of stage plays. Many well known stars and plays of the time were featured. The show only lasted one season due to being scheduled opposite Milton Berle, the number one show that year.
