This documentary series chronicles the lives of Frank and Alana Logie & Tim and Deanna Treadway, selected from hundreds of candidates who volunteered to spend an entire year living as 1870's prairie settlers. It gives viewers a window to the hardships of a very important era in the development of Western Canada.
