Mai lives with his father, Mek, who is now crippled due to his past as a gangster. Mek works as a van driver for Gee, who is in conflict with Phanthep, a greedy millionaire. Phanthep possesses the Bloody Ta Pode and is searching for the Spiritual Ta Pode, believing that whoever possesses both will be granted immense power.
