Gabriel and Rosa are the understudy for Johann Strauss' "Fledermaus" operetta. And they are just about to split up. Their relationship crisis hits right in the middle of rehearsals. Rosa has big plans for her career and starts an affair. Gabriel wants to find out with whom and feels overwhelmed by the many changes. When Rosa discovers that she is pregnant, the situation escalates.
