Julia spends five years behind bars, innocent. The dedicated teacher is said to have seduced and stabbed her student Felix Weixler. When a chance discovery exonerates her from the murder charge, Julia tries to make a fresh start. Meanwhile, Chief Inspector Max Kauth, severely traumatized by the death of his partner, reopens the tragic murder case and comes across numerous inconsistencies.
