Smärtpunkten

In 1998, renowned playwright Lars Norén and producer Isa Stenberg were invited to a prison to work with three inmates. The prison board is impressed by Norén's charisma and sees theatrical work as a genuine means of rehabilitation. The project becomes an unstoppable process in which all security concerns are set aside and all control mechanisms fall away. The result is a legendary theatrical performance, a passionate public debate, but also a double murder.
