The story centers on a 16-year-old girl who, when her sea captain father fails to show up for his annual visit at her boarding school, breaks out to search for him. She is shocked to find he is on a magical island called Neverland and is known as the villainous Captain Hook. But when she uncovers family secrets, she also discovers the real villain just might be Peter Pan.
