Invincible and legendary
100 years ago, on February 23, 1918, Vladimir Lenin signed a decree on the organization of the Workers' and Peasants' Red Army and the Workers' and Peasants' Red Fleet. At the initial stage of its creation, the Red Army faced big problems: a war on several fronts, the country's ruined economy, a shortage of professional personnel, and the lack of modern weapons and uniforms. Probably, no army in the world has had so many trials. But our army has to overcome all these difficulties and become one of the best in the world. A documentary series will tell about participation in global wars and regional conflicts, about exercises and secret operations, about the winning marshals and the exploits of ordinary soldiers, about designers and heroic teams of defense plants, about how our army was strengthened and tempered.
