
Understanding Literature and Life: Drama, Poetry and Narrative
In these series of 64 lectures, Dr. Arnold Weinstein of Brown University examines great works in the three forms of literary expression: drama, poetry, and narrative. The course exhibits the themes and techniques of the great literature, and exposes both the power and the limitations of several analytic tools in assisting our understanding of these monuments of the human spirit, including: Feminism, Marxism, Freudianism, Deconstruction, Close reading.
