Alyssa

Alice is fifteen, the teachers are tired of calling her mother to school, and she cannot understand what is happening to the child. Alice, on the other hand, found out what had been hidden from her for several years: she would soon go blind. A little more - and complete darkness will come. To have time to live for real, it is stupid to waste time on school, Alice decides. It is better to grow up sharply, earn "easy" money and leave for a beautiful big city. But pretty soon, teenage illusions will be shattered by reality, and mom's strategy of pretending that everything is fine will, as expected, lead to the opposite result.
