In modern history, Japan's large-scale invasion of China began in 1894, the year of Jiawu in the lunar calendar. China and Japan fought fiercely on the battlefield, and since then, their national fortunes have been different. Going back one more Jiazi, the two closed-door neighbors were knocked on the door by the West almost at the same time, and they were forced to open the road to modernization.
