The First Penguin

Nodoka Iwasaki (Nao) is a single mother, with a son. She has recently moved to a port city and experiences a hard time adjusting to the area.One day, Nodoka meets fisherman Hiroshi Kataoka (Shinichi Tsutsumi) at the hotel where she works. He is attending a banquet there. Circumstances leads Hiroshi to praise Nodoka’s resourcefulness and he asks her to work for the fisherman. Nodoka doesn't know anything about the fishing industry, but she decides to work for the fisherman.
