Berlin - Saigon

Berlin - Saigon

From Berlin 16,000 km by train, terminus Saigon in Vietnam: For months Dirk Sager was traveling in dozens of trains, you can't travel any further by rail from Germany's capital. The former Russia correspondent for ZDF has chosen routes that are off the beaten track of the tourist crowds. The route led through Poland, Belarus and Russia to the Volga, further through the Kazakh steppe and along the northern Silk Road to Xinyang, the province of the Chinese Muslims.
