5 Days in The Life of a Retiree

Tells the story of one day in the life of a Warsaw pensioner from 22 to 26 December 1979. It shows his family, social and neighborly relations against the background of the social situation in Poland at the end of Edward Gierek's reign and memories of his family and Polish history. It presents the thoughts of a man summing up a difficult life.
