Unjustly convicted of the murder of his wife Beatrice, Roberto never lost hope of proving his innocence. He studied law in prison and after ten years of detention he managed to get his case reopened thanks to a detail - something that no one had noticed before him - that cleared him definitively. The series begins on the day our protagonist gets out of prison and savors the much-desired freedom with a specific goal in mind: to find the real killer of his wife.
