82 Jours: L'affaire Charles Marion
The Charles Marion case is the longest and strangest kidnapping and extortion case in the country. The credit manager at the Caisse Populaire de Sherbrooke-Est will remain sequestered for 82 days in an underground cache, his kidnappers demanding a million dollars for his release. The methods of the Sûreté du Québec in the investigation, the media treatment of the case, public opinion and the flaws in the justice system will all have a role to play in the tragic outcome of this event.
