Auswärtsspiel - Die Toten Hosen in Ost-Berlin

Auswärtsspiel - Die Toten Hosen in Ost-Berlin

Shortly after they were founded in Easter 1982, the Düsseldorf punk band "Die Toten Hosen" was fooling the Stasi: the musicians Campino, Andi, Breiti, Kuddel and Trini gave a secret concert in a church in the middle of what was then the GDR. In "Away Game - Die Toten Hosen in Ost-Berlin" this unique event is now comprehensively told for the first time. Now one of the most successful German bands of all, 40 years later, "Die Toten Hosen" set out again on the trail of a journey they have never forgotten to this day. For the first time they meet the members of "Planlos" who had been persecuted and harassed by the Stasi after the legendary concert. Exclusive interviews, rare archive footage and emotional encounters document how punks in East and West allied against the dictatorship and how the Stasi tried to infiltrate the movement.
