Losing and Winning-Shigeru Yoshida, The Man Who Created The Postwar Period

August 1945. Marshal MacArthur landed at Atsugi Airfield and the occupation of Japan began. Shigeru Yoshida was appointed as Foreign Minister in place of his predecessor, who touched on the expeditionary force's Gekirin. His career imprisoned as an anti-war activist during the war had a positive effect. With only pride as a weapon, Yoshida competes with MacArthur, the most feared person, on an equal footing. On the other hand, his old friend Fumimaro Konoe, the former prime minister, is being chased by the designation as a war criminal.
