La Tanière,The Zoo-Refuge of Hope

La Tanière is the story of a crazy bet: that of the creation of the first zoo-refuge in Europe, in Eure-et-Loir near Chartres. Big cats, bears, elephants, primates: eventually more than 1,500 animals will be able to end their days in this 20-hectare sanctuary. Here, retired circus animals, laboratory survivors or even animals from judicial seizures start a second life.
