Poland from above. Over The Water

Poland from above. Over The Water

Water is still thought of as a resource that is freely available. Meanwhile, on the one hand, there are more and more droughts and low yields, and on the other hand - downpours and local flooding, as well as bans on bathing due to pollution. Poles feel the effects of climate change, but they do not know that natural, healthy rivers can save us from an ecological catastrophe. The program shows the beauty of Polish rivers, lakes and other reservoirs. It also makes viewers aware of the mechanism of water circulation in the landscape: its causes, course and effects. His knowledge on these issues will be shared by prof. Artur Magnuszewski, Polish hydrologist, scientist and enthusiast of inland and sea sailing.
