When a suspect named Martin Ney revealed himself as the perpetrator in 2011, one of the longest and most nebulous facts of the past decades came to an end. Ney confesses to being the so-called "mask man" who has killed three boys in Germany since 1992 and has committed more than 40 proven sexual crimes.
