Survivors

The "nineties" were long ago. But the echo of that difficult, dark time still sounds and does not allow the main character of the story, Major Kirill Reshetov, to sleep well, to whom colleagues tell the terrible news: his former lover, Natalya, who also worked in the police, was brutally murdered. Shocked by the news, Reshetov urgently leaves for Yaroslavl, where Natasha lived, and right at the station he learns that the fifteen-year-old daughter of the deceased is his child, about whom he knew nothing. Pretty soon Reshetov realizes that this murder is somehow connected with the "Likhov case", which he and Natasha conducted almost twenty years ago.
