Ekiben Detective Tokunosuke Jimbo

Tokunosuke Jimbo, a detective at the Nippori police station, loves ekiben. When he goes to the ekiben fair, he competes with freelance writer Minako Kudo for ekiben nationwide. Tokunosuke promised his late wife that he would travel around Japan's ekiben when he reached retirement age, including his feelings for her wife who couldn't do it. One day, a murder case occurred in the jurisdiction. Manami Saegusa was killed in the park. As she was about to begin her investigation, the Metropolitan Police Department's Investigation Division interrupted that she would investigate the case. Yusuke Kitamura, who leads the 3rd division of the 1st division, was the son of a detective whom Tokunosuke used to work with. Kitamura's father was shot by the criminal during the investigation and was killed, and Tokunosuke felt responsible and secretly watched over his son Kitamura for a long time.
