Kiez tough: Berlin-Neukölln

Berlin-Neukölln is also famous and notorious beyond the city limits: around 160,000 people live between kebab shops, late night bars and shisha bars, almost half of them with a migration background. In the Kiez, many have their own laws. The conflict between different groups, clan crime and drug trafficking with regular police operations determines the everyday life of the residents. The new documentary series introduces the people in the neighborhood and their everyday life as well as their dreams of a better future. (Text: VT)
