Crazy Year 1991

A time travel to dramatic events 30 years ago. In 1991, the great power of the Soviet Union disintegrated and ceased to exist. At the same time, the Finnish economy plunged into a historic recession. Esko Aho, who became prime minister in 1991, tells in a documentary, together with his contemporaries, what kind of storm a small country went through in one year. The discussions, led by journalist Tapio Nurminen, will consider how the effects of the dramatic year will be reflected in today's Finland and international relations.
