A story of bandits, in which the characters are more comic than tragic, with the action taking place in Alentejo at the end of the century. XIX. After the liberal wars, Alentejo was a sparsely populated and almost wild region, after all, the ideal setting for this story of violence and brutality, led by men who live outside the law.
