For nearly fifty years, Burma remained isolated from the world, under the yoke of a brutal dictatorship. In 2011, the junta dissolved itself. This turnaround, without revolution or coup d'etat, is unique in the world. It was punctuated by the release of the opponent Aung San Suu Kyi and the announcement of elections. But what about today? How far will this democratic breach go?
