Hunger of the Invisibles

The harsh reality faced by Brazilians living in the poorest regions of the country. The lack of food, which has always existed, has become even more vicious with the coronavirus pandemic. The team from Record TV and Portal R7 traveled by car for more than 5,000 kilometers, covering four states, for 20 days. The reports present the situation in Vale do Jequitinhonha, in Minas Gerais; in the backlands of Bahia, in isolated villages in the interior of Pernambuco; and in the extreme south of Piauí. The team tells stories of those who live the struggle for survival on a daily basis.
