The Wrecks of the World Wars

On the evening of June 6, 1944, Omaha Beach was a vast battlefield. In addition to the thousands of dead, about twenty floating tanks and more than 100 tankers are missing. Among the missing vehicles is the "Duplex Drive", a 35-ton Sherman tank which was to reach the beaches under its own power. Enthusiasts from all over Europe are investigating to locate these D-Day wrecks.
