My Little Big Day

One of the first casualties of Covid-19 in Ireland was the wedding day. With large gatherings banned, the traditional Irish wedding in 2020 was no more. Many couples postponed – willing to wait for a time when they could accommodate a large group of family and friends. This documentary features six couples who tied the knot in the midst of a worldwide pandemic. Each couple had a wedding that was vastly different to what they had originally planned. This documentary followed the couples as they navigated the ever-changing restrictions, changed their plans and ultimately forged ahead with one of the most important days of their lives. It captures the stresses and strains of a difficult journey and is full of heart, intimacy and love.
