The Last Hours Of Pompeii
On 17 October 79 AD, the city of Pompeii was buried under lava after the sudden eruption of Mount Vesuvius. In June 2018 a new rescue mission and archeological campaign was launched, the first on this scale in the last 70 years. With exclusive access granted over 10 months of excavation, this film reveals for the first time the unexplored parts of the city and captures the major findings which have emerged in front of our camera.
