The documentary series from Spiegel TV illuminates what the emergency services experience, how they work and which scenarios they are confronted with. Emergency doctors, paramedics and fire fighters were followed with cameras for months while they healed patients and saved lives. The work in the accident hospital in Ludwigshafen is illuminated, for example. 40 doctors and 70 nurses make up the competence team.
