Once a week on a Thursday night, the podcast is shown on BBC One. This series records only this weekly video podcast. This podcast has morphed out of the Brexitcast podcast, which then in. turned into the Newscast Podcast after the UK left the European Union at the end of January 2020. The Newscast Podcast ran for 7 weeks before morphing into the The Coronavirus Newscast at the end of March when the UK went into lockdown. And now we are back to the more general Newscast from the BBC
