Petter In Prison

Petter Nyquist lives as a regular inmate in Halden Prison for 30 days. Side by side with murderers, robbers and notorious criminals, he gets a unique and personal insight into everyday life behind the walls of what is often referred to as the world's most humane prison. After he is released, he continues to follow the inmates for a year, to try to understand how they are shaped by the imprisonment. Does the punishment work for them? Are they being rehabilitated?
