Buygones

Victor Lewis-Smith features humorous takes on disastrously conceived consumer items, such as the Aztec Bar and OMO washing powder. The comedy of Buygones is augmented by the amateurism of the programme that surrounded it. Lewis-Smith produced eighteen short editions, which were transmitted as part of Channel 4's "Club X" arts strand in 1989, and following the cancellation of Club X, two half-hour compilations were shown.
