World War II: The Color of War

World War II: The Color of War

During World War II the personal experiences of an entire generation were captured for prosperity. War time cameramen defied enemy fire to send their moving pictures home, many of them in color. During this process they filmed ordinary men in extraordinary situations. Common people who were not used to violence came eye to eye with destruction, violence and mass murder. None of them were born hero's, they were just common civilians. This is what they saw, this is "The Color of War".
