The war is over

The war is over (freely inspired by the characters and the facts that actually happened in Italy and in Europe) begins just after the Liberation, in the months after the tragedy of the extermination camps, the few survivors return to their home. Among these, also someone that will not find more no family waiting for him: boys and girls, boys and girls, teenagers who have seen and lived the horror. This story is about them. And some courageous adults help these children to return slowly to life, within an institution, impromptu, and without resources. Here, in Italy, proven, and miserable, and reduced to rubble, children and young people, Italian and foreigners, to discover the mutual respect, solidarity, the desire to play, to study, to work, to love, and tell the story of their lost humanity. To do so, they will have to go through difficult trials and defeat their monsters inner.
