Gold reserve

Retired border guard captain Sergei Bronnikov returns to his native Siberian town to settle there forever. His father, a retired geologist, shares a secret with his son. It turns out that he found the richest gold mine! Unfortunately, the “godfather” of the whole city, the owner of the illegal Mezentsev gold mine, finds out about this. The old geologist dies under torture, and his son is abducted and taken to the taiga in the mine in order to get his way to gold. So Sergey becomes one of the slaves in illegal mines - one of those whom no one is looking for and whose life costs nothing. All he has time before the abduction is to report his father’s colleague, FSB officer Stas Sheremet, about the death of his father. He immediately goes to help a friend. He will have to become a suspect himself, get on the wanted list, disappear and go through the taiga in order to find and help out a former fellow soldier. At all times, gold awakens greed, cruelty and treachery. Bandits are ready to do anything to get to the field. But Bronnikov and Sheremet have their own “gold reserve”: courage, loyal friendship and honor of officers. Will they be able to get out of the mine alive?
