Our Yorkshire Farm

The Owen family – and there are 11 of them – is the cheeriest and happiest imaginable. Clive and Amanda’s kids lead a simple, frugal life and are totally involved in farm work: responsible 14-year-old Reuben is a mechanical whizz, six-year-old Sid expertly uses a hay-baling knife and lights a camp fire, while even the little ones help with lambing, feeding and herding. All without moaning. Not even on a bitterly cold, snowy Christmas Day.
