Masterchef (DO)

A hundred participants give the judges a taste of their dishes. The best 50 receive a wooden spoon and go to the eliminatory. Contestants have 55 minutes to prepare a dish and 5 minutes to plate it in front of the judges. The judges can approve it by saying "yes" or reject it by saying "no". If at least two judges approve their dish, they win an apron and move on to the last test. In the last test, they must cut onions and cook a dish. The worst ones are stripped of their aprons and the 18 best go on to the competition. Those who fail the test or the members of the losing team must cook in the elimination test, where they are either given a slogan, or they must recreate the dish of a guest chef, after being tested. The worst dish in each elimination event is eliminated, but sometimes two applicants are eliminated at the same time.
