When a relief is a scoop, it is an exclusive, it is what is known as Scoop. In the post-truth era, journalism is the best antidote to fake news. Scoop recognizes the valuable work of journalistic investigations in recent years. It claims the role of journalists and the media as guarantors of the right to information. And it does so with an aesthetic that evokes references from recent cinema, from Steven Spielberg's 'The Pentagon Archives' to the Oscar-winning 'Spotlight' through the mythical 'All the President's Men'. Scoop recreates the making of reports that generated impact and Mamen Mendizábal interviews its protagonists. In the first installment, which opens to coincide with the celebration of the World Cup, says Qatargate, the biggest corruption scandal that has shaken the foundations of football.
