When dreams and reality are mismatched, a man finds that he is engaged in a war without bullets as he strives to establish himself in the business world. Fang Yu Bin (Yang Xu Wen) comes from a grassroots upbringing, but his professional acumen and reputation has served him well in the financial industry. In spite of his young age, he has risen to the post of assistant executive officer as he manages the Shanghai investments of a large firm. During an acquisition, he encounters Su Jin (Zhang Li), a female prodigy in their world and the president of a company. Just when everything seems to be going well, Fang Yu Bin's life gets completely shaken up when the company that he works for is dealt a huge blow. Refusing competitor's intent to poach him, Fang Yu Bin hits rock bottom and realizes that only by winning the war can he climb back to the top.
