A factory closes in the Vosges and nobody cares. A hundred guy find themselves unemployed. It is the story of a world that ends. The intersecting stories of Martel, a union worker who takes on a dubious job to get himself out of a hole; Bruce, a bodybuilder on steroids; and Rita, a conscientious works inspector. Alain Tasma brilliantly directs this adaptation of Nicolas Mathieu’s novel and dissects the social and economic brutality caused when traditional industry is dismantled.
