The Return of the Plagues

To force the exodus of the people of Israel from Egypt, God brings ten plagues upon the Egyptians, according to the Bible. He lets the environment and the weather play havoc, rivers to flood its banks and sends swarms of locusts and hail storms to destroy the crops of the farmers…3500 years later. It looks almost like the biblical plagues have returned to the present. Disastrous cyclones and huge tidal waves, deadly epidemics and contaminated water – is this nature’s revenge for the over-exploitation we have practiced in subduing it?
