En pleine tempête

In the middle of a storm takes us behind the scenes of the snow removal profession. It is through each of the episodes that we will observe how they attack this eternal race against the clock: the pressure due to the demands of the customers, the long hours worked to fight the cold, the sometimes difficult professional relations, the mechanical breakdowns, the profitability of operations, the unpredictability or harshness of bad weather and this incessant fight against accumulated fatigue. Add to that, the inevitable friction related to the demands of the job but also to the art and wisdom they derive from the freedom to be their own boss…and their limits. What does the holiday season look like in these families where the women call themselves the “Snow Widows”? For these workers who have to face bad weather to meet our needs, winter is synonymous with exhaustion but also with overcoming.
