Critical Surgery: Changing Lives

Every year, 20 volunteer medics travel to Ethiopia to perform facial surgery with the charity Facing Africa. 22-year-old Zinash has a tumour that has taken over her lower jaw, is bleeding and will kill her if not treated. She makes the journey to the capital city for a long and complex operation that could be her only hope.
