Untamed Spirit - The Steppes of Asia

Asia, the greatest continent on earth, encompasses an endless range of ecologies from subtropical rainforests to the arctic tundra. Yet, these vastly different environments are bound by a single steppe which stretches across the heart of the continent, surrounded by the majestic peaks of the Tian Shan and Altai Mountains. This is the story of the animals and people who inhabit this region, which is simply known as “The Steppe.” The tale of their struggles in the face of adversity is a timeless one, told to the background of sweeping landscapes which are as harsh as they are breathtaking. This is not only the story of creatures and humans bound by the unique geography of The Steppe. It is also the story of a man and his relationship with nature; how he must learn to live in harmony with it. Finally, it is a cautionary tale of the consequences we all face through the continued destruction of the nature that sustains us.
